I’ve been with Breaking Barrier for almost 4 years and have truly appreciated the love, guidance and support they have given me. This has been a wonderful experience and I’m now able to provide for my children and myself while giving others a better quality of life.  I’m so proud of each and everyone of my clients’ growth. We finally have a solid family unit. Thanks you Breaking Barriers.

Breaking Barriers has allowed me the chance to become an FHP and CA worker. I genuinely  enjoy the work I do. Being able to mold, encourage, and advocate for my participants. We have welcomed our FHP client into our home as one of our own and it has been a wonderful experience. I love what I do and I love being a part of the Breaking Barriers Family.

Hello, my name is Juanita E. Living in a residential home setting I get to do more stuff  as a family with my staff. I’m much happier than I was before coming to Breaking Barriers. I get to take vacation with my FHP. I get to relax in my bedroom anytime, I’m stress free and enjoy being with my FHP  and husband, they treat me like their own daughter. I’m thankful for them letting me be in their lives.

I have been with Breaking Barriers for years now. They’ve been very wonderful and great people to work with as well. Whenever they needed me to come by and help them with anything I loved helping them. One of the best things they’ve done is reconnected with a very good friend of mine, whom I’m blessed to have as my CLS worker. Everyone there is always helping me, that’s why I will always call them my family. Thank you Breaking Barriers so much!

The staff treat you like family, they do not treat you like employees. They talk to you like they’ve  known you for years. They care about how you are feeling as well as the person that you are working with. They also help you with learning new information as laws change and keep you up on your training that comes yearly.  They have events throughout the year for all the participants and staff, fun for everyone. Other people who work for them get to know each other as well and so when we all get together it is like a family gathering.  I must say this is one of the best jobs that I have had and I worked with people with mental and disabilities on most of my jobs but it was different because of some of the staff. Breaking Barriers is a great place to work and I have referred others to them, I enjoy it and they have grown so much in such a short time and I want to grow with them.
